Men hate going to church not because they don't believe in God but because they are tired and want some time for themselves. Most men work all week long and the only time they have for themselves are during Sundays. Going to church on a Sunday would mean that they lose that time too. In addition most men also do not like to socialize a lot.

The reasons given by men on why they don't like going to church are as follows:

Men want as much time for themselves as possible when they are not working
Socializing does not come easy for men as it comes to women
Men do not feel the necessity to go to Church considering that they can pretty much worship God at home
Men hate listening to boring lecture which they really cannot relate to
Men consider singing in Church to be sissy
Men think there is no point in going to the Church and sleeping. They might as well sleep at home
Most men consider going to church a waste of time

Ironically the whole concept of religion and the religious church was invented by men and they are the ones who hate it now. Not all of them of-course, but quite a handful of them.

Do men look at religion differently?

Most men do look at religion a bit differently as compared to women. Men are vexed by the fickleness of life and this makes them trust the existence of God that much lesser. Men also do not see the reason why one should go to Church to pray when the same can be achieved by praying at home. The guilt that women feel when skipping Church is not felt by men one bit. They will be more than happy to skip Church any day and do something worthwhile.

Men consider religious women as dull and boring

Believe it or not, this is the fact. Men do not like women who are too much into God. If you keep reading the Bible all the time and talking about God your man might feel that you are more into God than you are into him.

How can I make my Husband or Boyfriend come to church with me?

If your man hates going to Church, forcing or nagging him is definitely not going to help. Instead it can act the other way round. Your man might start hating you as well. He will start thinking that you do not understand him and that your likes and dislikes do not match anymore.

If you take my advice, do not force or prompt your husband or boyfriend to go to church with you. The fact is that men hate women who are too religious. They consider religious women as dull and boring who considers God above their relationship. If you do not want your man behaving this way don't make him feel that you are too much into God. At the same time, do not make him feel guilty for not going to church. Instead support him and make him feel at-ease. Tell him you will pray for him too. You can always tell him once in a while that it would be wonderful if he accompanied you as you feel lonely in the church without him. This will make your man feel important and he might come to Church with you just to make you happy.

If he agrees to come to Church with you to keep you happy, you need to repay the debt too. Consider skipping church once in a while and making out with your husband. Make him something special to eat or work out some fun plan for the time you save for Church. Don't be afraid of what your friends will ask if they find you missing in church for one day. It's your relationship with your husband which is more important. God wants that too.. believe me.
